BITS OF INFO:
Thank You!
In advance I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to view the website and an extra thank you to anyone who decides to order any prints. I will not have the opportunity to send a ‘Thank You’ along with any of the orders, but this does not mean that I do not appreciate it. As I mentioned, the memories photographs can provide are invaluable and I hope I can provide that for you!
Paper Quality
All photos are printed on Kodak Royal Paper.
Photo Quality
I want to ensure that you receive high quality photos. If you are trying to order a photo that has an exclamation (!) mark within a circle next to it, it may mean the resolution of the digital photo is poor. This can occur more often when trying to order a print in a larger size, such as an 8x10. If you order a photo that indicates the resolution may be poor, please be prepared that the end result may not be of the highest visual quality.
Glossy vs. Matte
You can choose to order prints with a glossy or matte finish. When a photo looks shiny it has a glossy finish and when a photo appears dull it has a matte finish.
Watermarks
When viewing the photos you will see a watermark on each of them. However, when you order the photo the watermark will be taken off. There is no need to worry that you are ordering a photo with a word written across it!
Shipping
Shipment of the orders will vary. However, orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-3 business days.
Black & White Photos
If you see a photo that you would like to order in black and white, please let me know by emailing me. I can then post the photo for you to order in black and white.
Secure Online Payments
I understand that some customers may not fully trust ordering photos online. The website utilizes a provider that is committed to supplying a secure website. Please refer to the provider’s security statement below. If you still feel uncomfortable ordering from the website, please send me an email and I will send you an order form to fill out. I will then process the order(s) and mail the photo(s) to you. Please understand this may take longer than the online process would take.
From the provider:

We use 128-bit encryption. SSL is built into all major browsers and web servers, and this security is automatic. You can recognize a secure page by the padlock icon displayed on your browser.
Cropping vs. Not Cropping
Cropping is trimming an image to make it the proper size. Typically, digital images are not the same shape as standard print sizes. This means the images must be cropped to fill the print paper; however, you can choose not to have your images cropped.
Cropping is on by default. When cropping is on, your image will fill the entire print area. If your image does not match the shape of the paper size you have chosen, the file will be expanded until all parts of the paper are covered with the image. As a result, this can sometimes cut off part of the original photo on either both the horizontal and vertical sides of the photo. In order to enlarge your image and keep the aspect ratio of the image, the image will be enlarged on both the horizontal and vertical sides equally.
If you select no cropping when you order prints, the image will not be cropped, but there will be white borders on two sides if the image does not exactly conform to the standard aspect ratios of the print sizes offered. The white border will either be on the horizontal or vertical sides of the photo. The amount of white space is dependant on how off the aspect ratio is to the print size. Please note all sides will not be the same amount of white space. Please note all sides will not show the same amount of white space.
When placing your order you will be able to get an idea of how the image will appear, cropped or uncropped, by holding your mouse over the question mark (?) that appears next to the word ‘Crop’ on your line item on the cart page. You may also preview how your photo will appear cropped by enlarging the photo in the album and clicking on ‘See Cropping’ on the bottom right or you may click on the word ‘Crop’ next to your line item in the cart. The red lines will show you where the photo will be cropped. Please use this for each print size before placing your order to ensure your satisfaction.
Questions, Comments, Ideas and/or Requests
Please feel free to email me with ANY questions, comments, ideas, and/or requests that you may have. As with anything new, there will be some areas that need to be tweaked and if anything is difficult to navigate or figure out, please let me know! I am always open to new ideas and I welcome them. Also, if you have any photos that you would really like to have taken, feel free to request that. I will try my best to capture the shot for you.
